2015 Scholarship Awards Night

Patterson High School hosted PRIDE’s 12th Annual Scholarship Awards Night on Tuesday, May 12, 2015.  The Clara Johnson Memorial Auditorium accommodated all sixty-eight invited seniors, their supportive families, and presenters. The Awards Night started promptly at 7pm with the memorial scholarships setting the tone for the evening.  Moments of inspiration and laughter filled the auditorium as presenters shared tidbits about the individuals they love and in whose honor the scholarships were given.  Presenters of the supporting PRIDE organizations presented, followed by individual donors.  Expressions of gratitude, pride and pure excitement were written all over the faces of students as they heard their

A Successful P.R.I.D.E. Scholarship Dinner and Auction

As this year’s host to the 11th Annual Patterson Scholarship Dinner and Auction, Damasco’s was a full house on Saturday, April 5, 2014. The evening started with a beautifully decorated restaurant and a choice of tables to share with friends. There were delicious hors d’oeuvres and a no host bar to visit while our guests perused the silent auction items. As the evening progressed, the expected and friendly competition for the silent bid items became fun to watch… as the time elapsed for the silent auction, buyers would sneak in to check that they were the last name and price

P.R.I.D.E. Scholarship Presentations

May 10, 2012 was the night of the PRIDE scholarship presentations.  There were 51 scholarship titles given out to 52 recipients.  This year 90% of the scholarships were presented by a representative of each award.  These individuals brought short stories about the scholarship into their presentation. The PRIDE board would like to thank each person for making their scholarship special to the student receiving same.  The night brought a total of $63,750 awarded to graduating seniors.  Another $3400 was awarded to honor scholars when they become part of our PRIDE scholarship program upon graduating from P.H.S.
