P.R.I.D.E Dinner Auction

P.R.I.D.E. Scholarship Applications

P.R.I.D.E. Scholarship Applications Seniors who are eligible to apply for the P.R.I.D.E. scholarships will be notified by the senior counselor in January after the fall semester grades are posted. P.H.S. seniors must have a cumulative GPA of not less than 2.5 and have passed both sections of the CAHSEE prior to the application deadline. Eligible seniors will be notified by the senior counselor and will attend an informational assembly in late January/early February to give them the details on the application process, the application deadlines and the date of the P.R.I.D.E. Bob Kimball’s 82nd birthday ride

  Bob Kimball’s 82nd birthday ride Wow! That’s the best description of Bob Kimball’s 82nd Birthday 82 Mile Ride. What an inspiration to ride with Bob on this special day. If I make it to 82 years old I know what I want to do on my birthday. Congratulations Bob. Bob not only covered the distance he did it on a cold, windy, wet day. After singing happy birthday to Bob the ride was off. On the first half of the ride , that traveled north to the first rest stop on McCraken Road ,riders had a taste of cyclecross.

P.R.I.D.E. Bike Ride

The 70 for 70 P.R.I.D.E. bike ride was an exciting, fun first. With a total of 55 riders, there were a range of abilities. Thirty three of these riders chose to ride our 70 mile route. This included west side riders and some outside bike club members. The rest of the group had a choice of a 43mile, 35 mile or 15 mile route. All riders were given great rest stops and total support of sag vehicles throughout their chosen distances. We were very thankful to Arnold and Terry Regalado for opening their Westley McDonalds up to all distance riders.
